The majority of the customers are private, who enjoy being able to buy from an assortment of brands, whcih the establised harware store chains ofte does not stock. Frishop.dk went live in 2011 and today has 10 employees.

Challenge: Was looking for a scalable solution for e-commerce

When Morten Laursen founded the company frishop.dk – an online hardware store, which sell branded goods and specialised items for house and garden, which cannot be found in the regular hardware stores – the choice of e-commerce platform was crucial. The level of ambitions was high from the beginning, which is why Morten had to primary requirements for the solution:

  1. The webshop had to be able to scale with the business
  2. The integration level had to be high

With his background knowledge of the e-commerce market in Denmark, Morten decideded, in a short process, to use the e-commerce solution from ScanCommerce.

 

The solution: Navision and webshop up and running in less than a month

As a new comoany, which at the time consisted of two people, Morten and his partner had get get started setting up both Navision and the webshop from scratch. In less than a month they were up and running with both, and the cooperation was smooth, as ScanCommerce supplied both. The solution was 100% integrated from the beginning, so all data in the ERP system also appears in the webshop. Morten says:


With ScanCommerce as the total supplier the implementation time is shorter, than if we had to get more suppliers. We set high demands, but ScanCommerce has fulfilled them and the implementation was a good process, with talented consultants, which are constructively critical.

Bad logistics and missing integration kills good webshops. Our integrated setup has contributed to us fulfilling the ambitious growth targets we set from the beginning. What pleases us the most is that it works for the customers, so they return. If we ahve sold a garden grill, there are good chances that the customer chooses use when he later has to buy a lawnmower.
